Our group

Oberena Dantza Taldea consists of more than 100 dancers, divided in different groups: the principal group, the middle group, the group of children, the group of veterans and the course for adults. The first one is composed by 40 dancers. The middle ones and the children are approximately 65 dancers. The group of veterans was formed in 2012 for grouping dancers who were active for years, but had to leave the group at the end. They get together twice a month to rehearse. Regarding the course for adults, even if it is mostly formed by parents of the dancers, it is open to everyone.

Dances of Gipuzkoa: Zinta dantza, igitai dantza, batelerak, matelota, arku dantza, brokel dantza, boastitzea, uztai dantza, fandango eta arin-arin, aurreskua, ezpata dantza, sorgin dantza.

Dances of Biscay: Lekeitioko andrazkoen aurreskua, kaxarranka, kontrapas, Xemeingo ezpata dantza, mahaigainekoa, dantzari-dantza, gorularien arku dantza eta domingillo, ipurdi dantza.

Other dances: Amaia ezpata dantza, Debako martxa, orpo-punta polka, polka berria.
